Simon is Deputy Managing Director of our global Healthcare and Higher Education practice.

Based in the UK and operating internationally, Simon focuses on executive, non-executive and senior clinical placements broadly across the healthcare and higher education sectors. Bringing over 10 years of search and people consultancy experience to his senior level client work, Simon is also a member of Alumni’s Board Services Practice. Simon has an exceptional track record supporting clients and candidates for handling complex and sensitive searches, and undertaking advanced candidate assessment and coaching, and is as a trusted advisor to public, third sector and commercial organisations.

Before joining Alumni in 2012 Simon spent five years as a senior adviser with the Hay Group where he specialized in healthcare reward and performance. Prior to this he held a range of senior clinical and leadership roles in the health sector, as well as holding broader professional roles including university lecturer, Board member for the Royal College of Nursing and foundation trust governor.

Simon is a Registered Nurse, holds an MBA from Leeds University Business School and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and registered by the British Psychological Society to use psychometric tests to assess ability, personality and behaviour.
